About Morocco

Morocco is a North African country with a population of around 33 million inhabitants (Number of high school graduates). The kingdom’s economy feeds primarily from agriculture and tourism. However, its resources, geostrategic location, and political stability, among other elements, have made of it the most important target in the region for investors worldwide. In this regard, the French language that has dominated the educational sector for decades has been gradually, and significantly, losing ground for English, which is today an necessary requirement in the local marketplace. Being aware of this shift, more and more Moroccan students have taken the decision to study abroad in internationally renowned colleges and universities. Morocco outnumbers the rest of African countries in the number of students enrolling in foreign institutions (10%). Therefore, a number of educational institutions in America, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Australia have come to recognize Morocco as a vital market for international students’ recruitment.
